Hey ya’ll! We’re book clubbing it up!📕📚 🔦If you’re interested in reading with us and later meeting up with us to talk lit, our first book is THE UNQUIET DEAD by Ausma Zehanat Khan. Khan is a badass. She is a Ph.D. in International Human Rights Law with a research specialization in military intervention and war crimes in the Balkans. She has practiced immigration law in Toronto and has taught international human rights law at Northwestern University, as well as human rights and business law at York University. She is a long-time community activist and writer and author of the first novel we’ll be diving into. Friends that read together, organize and resist together. Take a fiction, yet conscious break with us then lets meet up! Everyone is welcomed to join. We’re all in the process of getting our books via mail and store and once we have them in we’ll set some dates! Order your copy :)
