Greetings Krewe du Kanaval members, supporters and family:
We wanted to let everyone know that the Board met this month and agreed that we will take 2024 Mardi Gras off. We are still committed to the community and look forward to reconnecting around our mission to celebrate the bonds between New Orleans and Haiti in the future. So for now, An Ale and we will keep in touch going forward.

More Gratitude to give!!

We would like to thank the incredible, unstoppable, unwavering, unbeatable volunteer team who came in from Haiti, Canada and all over the US to support the Krewe and it's events all weekend long.

From getting member packages together, to helping welcome our members, to crafting parties, to setting up decor and taking it all down! The KANPE volunteer team is exceptional and our weekend of events wouldn't have been as special or as organized without them!

Please thank: Juli, Craig, Melissa, Ben, Jennifer, Fritz, Hugo, Youssef & Irvyne!!

The Krewe has so much gratitude to show for its many volunteers, organizers and superstars who made our event a reality!

Austin is one of these superstars!

His official position was Krewe “runner”, but he did so much more!

Austin was the glue that held our event together day by day through the weekend. Ensuring that all the items we needed to move around the City of New Orleans, from the Marigny, to the French Quarter to Uptown and Back to the CBD, it felt like he was everywhere all at once!

Please help me thank Austin for the efforts he put in to put the items we needed, where we needed them to produce a great weekend!
