For DCA members and her friends:

It's with great sadness that we learned this afternoon that Marci Forrester just passed away. Her passing was unexpected. Her daughter-in-law, Myra, called us with the sad news and to provide details of her memorial services.

Marci's funeral will be on Wednesday, July 10th at 10:00 am at the Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery, Alabama with a gravesite service to follow. Visitation will be on Tuesday afternoon, July 9th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Marci's obituary will soon be up on the Leak Memory Chapel website with information on Marci's wishes; Myra believes the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be one organization mentioned.

Myra asked that we share this information, and for all of you to please share as well. I have Myra's phone number if anyone would like to contact her directly.

Marci was a wonderful breeder, judge, and most of all a dear friend. She contributed significantly to DCA and our breed. I will miss her greatly.
