Bach to Rock-BHS From Bach to Rock, an afternoon of classics performed by the Branford HIgh School Choirs and friends

“Bach to Rock” is:

A concert of epic proportion conceived by Cathyann Roding, Choral Director at Branford High School featuring 160 BHS students, added voices from Walsh Intermediate School’s Cantare Choir, a 30 piece orchestra and a rock band. The choirs will perform Bach’s “Magnificat” as well as 10 rock classics that have been orchestrated and arranged by Drake Smith. All proceeds will benefit

the Basic Needs Program at the Branford Counseling Center. Every ticket sold (for $15.00 each) will help the students reach their goal of $15,000 in net proceeds for the Center. The musical lineup is spectacular:

• Nights in White Satin by The Moody Blues
• I Love Rock 'n Roll by Joan Jett and the Black Hearts
• The Show Must Go On by Queen
• Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney
• Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me by Elton John
• Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd
I Got the Music In Me by the Kiki Dee Band
