We’ve watched students learn to thread a sewing machine for the first time, complete projects they never thought they could make, and discover confidence through creativity.

We’ve seen friendships form, ideas come to life, and makers realize they’re capable of more than they imagined.

That’s why Endangered Stitches® exists.

Not just to teach sewing, crochet, and knitting, but to create opportunities for learning, connection, creativity, and growth.

There’s something special about being in your element.

For me, it’s the hum of sewing machines, the sound of scissors cutting fabric, helping students solve creative challenges, and watching ideas come to life one stitch at a time.

When I started Endangered Stitches®, my goal wasn’t just to teach sewing, crochet, and knitting. It was to create a space where people could learn, create, build confidence, and connect through making.

Whether I’m developing a new class, working with a private client, preparing materials for a workshop, or helping a student troubleshoot a tricky step, this is where I feel most at home.

This studio is more than a workspace. It’s a place where creativity grows.

Thank you to everyone who has taken a class, attended a workshop, booked private coaching, or supported our mission to keep fiber arts thriving.

We’re just getting started. ✨

Wednesday, September 2nd, we will be hosting a special Stitch & Sip experience at the beautiful Aquila’s Nest Vineyards in Sandy Hook, CT.

Tickets are already selling, and we can’t wait to host what we know will be a memorable evening.

Whether you’re brand new to crochet or looking for a relaxing way to unwind, this beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the vineyard.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, mentors, and father figures who encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence.

This video is from a trip to Panama, where my dad spent the day helping me shop for fabric. It may seem like a simple moment, but it’s one I’ll always cherish. Having a parent who supports your passions and takes an interest in what you love is such a gift.

Thank you to the fathers and father figures who help the next generation learn, make, build, create, and believe in themselves.

Wishing you a day filled with family, laughter, love, and meaningful moments.
