OFFICIAL RELEASE DAY: Xenosis (US) - Hermetic Transmutation (Technical/Progressive Death Metal)

This is the band's fifth full length album - their first one with a label - and it's about time they get their due. On the latest album, they've upped the ante, making the music more intricate, brutal, and even a bit dissonant. It's a delight to put on headphones and grapple with this gnarly beast of an album that invariably gets better with more listens. Gotta love the attitude of the guys too. Give this one a spin today!

Warcock Entertainment is proud to host a *dual* release show for two of Connecticut’s premier metal acts!

Melodic death/doom powerhouse FIRES IN THE DISTANCE drop their new album “Circadian Promise” via Prosthetic Records on June 12th, while tech death scene stalwarts XENOSIS unleash “Hermetic Transmutation” via Transcending Obscurity Records on June 5th. Both bands are coming together to celebrate these achievements on one momentous evening!

Joining them will be the melodeath harmonies of APOSTASY, returning from a year-long hiatus with a refreshed lineup and a handful of new tracks, as well as the titans of eastern Connecticut death metal MARVEL OF DECAY kicking things off!

The party takes place at Counter Weight Brewing Company in Cheshire, in their upstairs space—just head up the stairs or elevator opposite the main bar downstairs. The lads in Ritual Pizza will be crankin’ out killer food all night, so arrive hungry! The upstairs doors open at 6:30 and the tunes kick off at 7… and the cover charge is *cash only* so please plan accordingly!
