We walk alongside our students, offering challenging lesson plans, unforgettable performance opportunities, caring instructors and individualized plans for success. While our prog

We're one of the only studios in the area offering Cirque as a part of our training.

At EMC, Cirque is an add-on that blends acrobatics, partner skills, expressive movement, and choreography in a way that pushes performers to grow in every direction.

Our students aren't just learning tricks. They're building a performance vocabulary that sets them apart, on stage and in life.

Dance. Music. Theater. AcroGymnastics. All under one 20,000 sq. ft. roof in New Freedom, PA, serving our community since 1992. 🏛️

If your child has never considered Cirque, this might be the season to try something extraordinary.

There's a place for every parent at EMC. 🩷

Some of you are happiest cheering from the audience — and honestly, that energy carries our students straight through every performance.

Some of you thrive behind the scenes, helping with costumes, volunteering for events, or lending a hand wherever it's needed.

Some of you are regulars at every special project, and some of you are just trying to keep up with a busy schedule — and that is completely okay too.

And then there are the brave few who actually get onstage with their kids. 🎭 (We love you for it.)

Whatever your comfort level, whatever your season of life — you belong here. EMC is a family, and families show up in all different ways.

If you've been curious about what it's like to be part of our community, we'd love to show you. Come visit us and see it for yourself.

"I love dance, but I don't love to dance."

That one sentence stopped people mid-scroll when I first said it out loud — and it changed everything about how I see my work.

In my conversation on the Living the Red Life podcast, I talk about the moment I realized that my calling was never about performing. It was about pouring into others who do. About building the kind of discipline, tradition, and character that carries students far beyond the stage.

We dig into why the honor of ballet tradition matters more than ever in today's world, what it really means to love the process — and what I look for in the students who go on to do remarkable things.

Here’s the link to listen. I think it'll surprise you. 🎙️

We have a very special announcement to make — and we couldn't be more excited.

Please join us in welcoming Ella as the FIRST student to officially sign on with Next Stage Talent Management by EMC!

🩷 Ella, we are so proud of you for taking this step. Your journey starts here, and we are honored to be a part of it. 🖤

To every family who has been thinking about joining us — now is the moment. Summer is truly the perfect time to get started. With school out and schedules a little lighter, there's real space to lay the groundwork without the rush. That foundation makes all the difference when audition season comes around.

Our next Jump Start Workshop is scheduled for June 18th — a 4-hour intensive designed to get your child submission-ready with a professional resume, casting profiles, a polished slate video, and edited headshots. All before summer is over.

Spots are limited. If you have questions or you're ready to sign on, reach out directly at [email protected]. We'd love to hear from you.

⭐️ Next Stage Talent Management (powered by EMC Performing Arts Studio and Meghan Bulls) — preparing young performers, ages 5 and up, for opportunities in film, TV, commercials, and stage.

🩷 There is something quietly countercultural about a ballet class. And that's exactly the point.

In a world where everything is instant, casual, and endlessly scrollable, the ballet studio asks something different of our children. It asks them to stand up straight. To wait their turn. To address their teacher with respect. To enter and exit the floor with intention. To end class the same way it has ended for centuries… with a reverence. 🩰

These aren't old-fashioned rituals. They are anchors.

The child who learns to move through a space with awareness and grace is learning something that no algorithm can teach. They're learning that some things are worth doing with care. That their presence matters. That there is dignity in discipline, and that showing up fully, even for the small moments, is a skill worth having.

Ballet class teaches kids how to be somewhere. Fully. Respectfully. Presently. And in today's world, that is genuinely radical. 🩷

At EMC, our Dance Technique Program isn't just about beautiful lines and strong technique (though we absolutely deliver that.) It's about giving your child a practice that shapes how they carry themselves in every room they walk into for the rest of their lives. 🎭

Summer is the perfect time to begin (or deepen) that foundation. Our programs serve every age and level, and our Team brings decades of professional training and genuine passion to every single class.

Visit https://danceemc.com/ to explore dance and all of our summer offerings. Enrollment is open now. We'd love to welcome your family.

🩷 Talent will take you far. But attitude? Attitude will take you further.

We've watched thousands of students come through our doors over more than three decades at EMC. And time and again, the ones who rise — in dance, in their careers, in their relationships — share something that has nothing to do with natural ability.

They come in hungry. They listen with their whole body. They say thank you. They try the correction instead of defending the mistake. They cheer for their classmates. They stay curious even when something feels hard. 🎭

These aren't small things. These are THE things.

Because the studio is a classroom for life. The student who learns to receive feedback gracefully becomes the employee who grows faster than everyone else. The one who shows up consistently, even when they don't feel like it, becomes the adult who keeps their commitments. The one who treats their teachers and peers with respect becomes the leader people actually want to follow. ✨

At EMC, we don't just train dancers, musicians, and performers. We develop humans. And we do it every single day — in every class, every rehearsal, every interaction.

If you want your child in an environment where character is built right alongside technique, summer training at EMC Performing Arts Studio is waiting for them. Every age, every level, every discipline — we have a place for your kid.

Head to https://danceemc.com/ to explore programs and claim your spot this summer.

Tune into Episode 63, “Inside EMC: The EMC Way (Part 1)” on Apple, Spotify, Amazon Music, or Podbean.

Before there was EMC, there was a girl who didn't dream of performing… she dreamed of teaching. This week, Robin tells us everything: the training that changed her, the rainy morning that stuck with her, the poor choices she made, and the vision that kept her going all the way to opening her own studio at 22. The EMC Way didn't come from a brochure. It came from this. Part 2 coming next!

We invite you to tune in and join the conversation. Your feedback is invaluable to us; please share your thoughts and let us know what topics you'd like to hear in future episodes by commenting below.

🩷 One of the most powerful things a parent can do for their young performer isn't applauding the win — it's sitting with them in the hard moment and saying, "I know this is tough. Let's figure it out together."

Disappointment is part of the journey. The audition that didn't go the way they hoped. The role they wanted but didn't get. The class that felt impossible. These aren't detours from growth — they ARE the growth.

When we step back from fixing and start coaching, we raise kids who know how to get back up. Kids who develop resilience, self-awareness, and the kind of inner strength that carries them far beyond the stage. 🎭✨

If you're looking for a community that intentionally cultivates these qualities in every student — through training, mentorship, and a whole lot of heart — EMC Performing Arts Studio's summer programs are open and enrolling now. Whether your child is just beginning their arts journey or deepening their craft, there's a place for them here.

✨ The spotlight is beautiful. But it's not where the magic actually happens.

The magic happens on a Tuesday afternoon when nobody's watching. When your child is at the barre for the hundredth time, learning the same combination — and something finally clicks. When they nail a rhythm they've been chasing for weeks. When they laugh with their classmates during a rehearsal break and feel, deeply, that they belong somewhere.

That's the joy we're talking about.

We live in a world that celebrates the performance, the audition, the big moment. And those moments are worth celebrating. 🎉 But if a young performer only finds meaning in the performance, they miss out on the richest part of this journey — the daily discipline, the quiet breakthroughs, the love of the craft itself.

At EMC, we teach our students to fall in love with the doing. The practicing. The trying. The showing up. Because that love? It lasts a lifetime — long after the curtain comes down. 🎭💛

If you want your child to build a relationship with the arts that goes deeper than the stage, summer training at EMC Performing Arts Studio is the perfect place to start or grow. We have programs for every age and level, led by a team that genuinely loves what they do.

Explore summer programs and enroll at https://danceemc.com/ ... spots are filling up!

And for more honest conversations about raising young performers with purpose and joy, follow In the Spotlight: Raising Leaders in the Performing Arts 🎙️ — available wherever you listen to podcasts. This is exactly the kind of thing we dig into every episode.
