My Story
I'm Celina - a full-time art teacher in Connecticut and free lance artist. My focus is primarily on capturing the essence and heart of beloved pets, homes, and places. I am a self-proclaimed crazy dog mom to two crazy terriers we rescued, named Chase & Charlie. They are my inspiration and keep my life interesting.
I work primarily in the mediums of watercolor and acrylic painting. My passion as of late has been creating customized pet portraits as memorials or just for fun. I accept customs of any pet large or small from reptiles to birds, to small mammals or farm critters. I am an independent artist, a lover of realism, the organic, and of hidden gems. I look to capture a moment, an experience, a spark in an eye, or special place, and help people appreciate the little things that generally get overlooked. I work to make art that tugs at a person's heartstrings. Much of my landscape work revolves around capturing an area of Nova Scotia, Canada, primarily the area of Yarmouth County. Since childhood, I have loved the area and call it my second home. I am hoping to show people that true unadulterated beauty in nature still exists, you just have to keep your eyes and your heart open.
