Self serve with selflessness!

1st Peter, chapter 4

The whole chapter is a great reminder of why our follow through in working out our own salvation with Christ, leads us home and to that victors crown shared from the King of Kings.

These examples of believers and followers of Christ I can truly hope to surround myself with as Christ leads to those who want to join just from picking fruit of those running the race.

I can imagine - those who hunger for renewed mercies daily, running along side those with reverence on a very narrow path, granted having every opportunity to eat on spiritual fruit that can easily be picked off others heading home never alone and yet still working out our own salvation with Christ.

Tonight I had the privilege of spending time with a stranger that became Christ filled family. The highways and the byways is where I love to meet those seeking love from our Father! Praise you God and thank you Christ for filling us with the Ghost.

Come as you are. That means exactly that. God will love us into where we truly desire to be when seeking Him. God wants us to run to Him for everything (great or horrible) that’s how we are found in Him, not anything else that we tried and it failed us. He’s our friend that only Heaven can offer, nothing compares to higher heaven level believing and thinking. He’s the friend that lets you be a mess coming in and helps you clean up leaving. It’s best when we are giving it to Him all ugly like because, His character never changes so, His perfect love doesn’t either and that’s how we can shed off things that were never meant to hold on too or carry for as long as we have.

Let God lead you into surrounding yourself with likeminded believers. This will help in the building up not fearful tare-down, since His love will be what they offer you and have some grace for them if they are also in a battle not to be only focused on our battle (blessed to be a blessing). God loves you so very much and He’s proven it with every breath you take. Stay blessed, love y’all.

Be quick to listen and slow to speak.

Pull out the log before plucking splinters.

Give grace and mercy to those who are lost without the offense.

A lot of those who say they are believers judge first without love in their hearts to give. I’ve been guilty of this many times and I’m grateful for God’s love, grace and mercy that I’ve never been rejected by Him.

If you find yourself with others that won’t love on the lost checks your surroundings. We may not be after God’s own heart and Jesus tells us to surround ourselves with those who are after that very thing. That we all can love on the lost winning souls. That we Hear from the Lord on what assignment He’s preparing and equipping us for, the very thing He’s call us all to do is go out and spread His gospel, love, joy and Holy Ghost peace that changed us all from the death life we called our own. Testify on the very thing that brought you to life so Heaven can celebrate more faith family to come.

If I’ve ever hurt you by not loving first and judged you, I pray you can forgive me. Thank you God for your forgiveness and saving my soul.
