🎄 **2026 is in the books... and planning for 2027 has already begun!**

We're only **361 days away** from the next **New Bern Christmas in July**, and we're already collecting ideas to make next year's event even better for our vendors, our attendees, and our community.

💡 **Here's another work-in-progress idea we'd love your feedback on!**

# # # 🎅 Vendor Passport Challenge

The idea is simple:

📖 Every attendee receives a **Vendor Passport** when they enter the event.

🎄 Every participating vendor has a spot in the passport.

🖋️ When a customer visits your booth, you stamp or initial your space on their passport.

🥤 Once they've visited **every vendor**, they can redeem their completed passport for a complimentary bottled water, soft drink, or another small reward.

The goal isn't just to give away a drink...

The goal is to encourage attendees to explore the entire event, discover vendors they might otherwise miss, and create more opportunities for conversations—and hopefully sales—for every vendor.

**This is NOT a finalized plan.** It's simply an idea we're considering for the 2027 event, and we'd really appreciate your honest feedback.

🎄 The 2026 New Bern Christmas in July event is officially over...

**BUT... planning for 2027 is just getting started!**

Only **361 days** to go! 😄

Lists to make...
Lists to check twice...
And plenty of new ideas to explore!

One suggestion from one of our wonderful vendors has really caught my attention, and I'd love to hear what our vendor community thinks before we decide whether to move forward with it.

The graphic below explains a **work-in-progress idea** for a new **Vendor Prize Hunt**.

The goal is simple:
🎁 Give every vendor a chance to showcase a door prize.
🎄 Encourage winners to visit and interact with vendors throughout the event.
🤝 Create more conversations, more smiles, and more opportunities for shoppers to discover all the amazing businesses that make New Bern Christmas in July so special.

**This is NOT a finalized plan.** It's just an idea we're exploring for 2027, and your feedback will help shape whether it becomes reality.
