Explore the installation at the New Bedford Buttonwood Park. Upon your visit, you’ll discover giant, bright metal bugs climbing lamp posts and burrowing in the grass.

Each creature was collectively created by over 40 Metal/Fab students at GNBVT Metal Fab & Joining with much support from the faculty including Steve Flowers and artistic direction from NB sculptor, Chuck Hauck. We look forward to the 2027 phase 2 bugs to be added to the collection.
