anta! Bay-Rama is also involved with other areas of the community, New Baltimore Recreation Center, MacDonald Library, New Baltimore Lions, New Baltimore Fire & Police Departments, and the New Baltimore Historical Society. We have supported the Anchor Bay High School Marching Band, Senior All Night Party, and the All Sports Club. Have you been to the beach at Walter & Mary Burke Park in the past several years? Have your kids played on the playscape at the park? Ever sit down at the library to read a book or magazine? Ever taken a walk around Festival Park? Have your kids ever played soccer or practiced youth football or lacrosse at Festival Park. Has your Child played t-ball or baseball at Festival Park? Through donations from Bay-Rama over $2,100,000 to date, these things have been made possible. Bay-Rama donated the land on which the current beach and playscape are located at a value of $550,000 at the time. We also made a donation to make the restrooms at the park, picnic tables, and steel seawall possible. There are two full soccer fields at Festival Park along with 4 ball diamonds, and a practice field for youth football or lacrosse currently in use, along with multiple picnic areas, parking, and 1 mile walking path, all donated by Bay-Rama. In 2012 Bay-Rama made the final donation of Festival Park to the City of New Baltimore. Although the park is now owned by the city, we still continue to pursue grants and donations to implement the additional items needed at the park. In the Spring of 2014, the baseball and softball complex was dedicated and named The Larry Gingas & Family Baseball & Softball Complex. We couldnβt be happier or more proud of the hard work and dedication set forth by Larry Gingas in his pursuit of making the dream of Festival Park come true and being recognized in such a perfect way.
