🎸 Dangerous Doug Harper – Album Announcement 🎶

The wait is almost over… my new album 30:30 officially drops on all major streaming platforms Thursday, January 29, 2026. Pre‑order/save goes live Friday, January 16.

But for my hardcore friends and followers—you don’t have to wait. You can already hear the full album right now on Bandcamp and on Audio On Demand at the Lunch With Doug Roku TV Channel.

This release is special. A couple things have changed since I first talked about it: the sped‑up version of I Found Myself a Monkey was originally going to be included, but with the 20th anniversary of that song coming up, I decided to hold it back for that celebration. Instead, I’ve added something brand new—Thank You Hugh Hefner, a song I wrote more than a decade ago as a tribute to Hefner’s role in saving the Hollywood sign (twice!). The sign inspired me as a kid, and my adventures in Hollywood have deeply shaped me as an artist. I’ve only performed this song once in my career, so for most of you, it’s brand new.

The album cover features that now widely circulated photo of me playing electric guitar in a lawn chair, marking my 30‑year musical journey. Some tracks are fuller, re‑imagined versions of acoustic songs from my catalog, others are unreleased recordings that didn’t fit past albums (Spring Break and Red Cherry Tragedy), and several are brand new songs that have never been performed live or released before.

30 years, 11 songs, one album. This is my story, my sound, and my celebration.
