GF Productions Barrel Races

📣 GF PRODUCTIONS SCHEDULE UPDATE

After a lot of consideration, I've made the decision to cancel the Tuesday night Winter Barrel Series races at Longhorn Arena.

With my new work schedule and increased travel for work, I'm not able to commit the time needed to put on these races the way I want to.

The good news is that we are still moving forward with:
⭐ The GF Productions Super Stars $1000 Added Weekend Presented by Wall Equipment
⭐ The FYNX Equine Series at Freedom Arena

I want to sincerely thank Longhorn Arena, our sponsors, and everyone who has supported GF Productions. I love putting on these races, and I'm incredibly grateful for the contestants who continue to show up and support. I hope to be able to do more in the future when my schedule allows!

🏆 SERIES AWARDS FOR SALE

Since we won't be holding the Tuesday series, I'll also be offering the awards I purchased for sale:

• 4 HART stacking toolboxes

• 4 Teskey's 3/4" wool barrel saddle pads

All are new! Feel free to message me if you're interested.

Thank you all for understanding and continuing to support GF Productions.

FAST horses + GOOD ground made for one great night of racing at Freedom Arena! 🔥 Next race: GF Productions FYNX Equine Barrel Race #4 10/1/26

Our September 24 stop of the GF Productions FYNX Equine Series may have been our fastest one yet and the numbers definitely tell the story.

Makayla Silvey & FIREWATER N MI VEINS stopped the clock at a smoking 15.938, becoming the first team in our last three FYNX races to break into the 15s.

What we were probably even more excited about was how deep the fast times went and how good the ground was throughout the entire draw:
👏 12 horses ran under a 16.500
👏 19 horses ran a 16.745 or faster
👏 24 horses broke the 17-second mark

Nearly 1 out of every 3 horses in the Open ran under 17 seconds, and about 17% of the entire Open field broke 16.500.

Our Top 10 came from draws 4, 21, 22, 41, 47, 54, 62, 67, 69 and 76.
The winning 15.938 came at draw 69, and the last horse out still clocked a 16.444.

That means fast horses were clocking from basically the beginning of the race all the way through the end; exactly what we want to see out of our ground. 🙌

That is some SERIOUS horsepower, but we're also incredibly proud of the surface those horses had to run on.

A huge thank you to Bryce for getting the ground right and keeping it right throughout the night. Producing a surface where a horse at the end of the draw has the same opportunity to clock as one at the beginning is always the goal.
