The whole cast of "Dearly Departed" want to thank all that came out last night for opening night. Not only were you generous with your donations but your presents were a joy! Your laughs and applause helped us to have a great show! Your were infectious!
Two more performances to go, come back again or for sure tell all your friends to join us at the Neodesha Arts Center!

Come join the unusual friends that attend in the funeral of Bud Turpin. Nadine, played by Carrie Jordan, is a hopeful romantic that names her children for the stars that they are. Juanita, played by Sondra Feckler, is an affluent cousin to the Turbin's that can't seem to move on from her high school royalty years. Veda and Norval, an elderly couple, played by Sue McKellar and Dana Moodie, attend to give support even with Norval's many medical issues. And lastly Clyde, played by Dana Moodie, the owner of the body shop that Ray-Bud works at.

The last member of the Turpin family is Delightful, played by Hanna Pond. Delightful is the "oops" member of the family and spends most of her time with snacks. She will be serving "Beans" at the visitation.

Marguerite Turpin, Bud's sister is played by Terri Green. She offers comedic relief as the mother of Royce Turpin, played by Travis Wells. Royce has no ambition and desires to live on welfare, often clashing with his difficult mother, Marguerite.

Junior Turpin, played by Hunter Whitehead, is Ray-Bud's younger brother, a dreamer whose failed ventures and infidelity creates further conflicts. Suzanne Turpin, played by Kayla Angleton, is Junior's wife, a dramatic and emotionally volatile woman who constantly reminds Junior of his mistakes.

Meet the eldest Turpin son, Ray-Bud, played by Philip Newkirk, and his wife Lucille, played by Julie Babcock. Ray-Bud shoulders the burden of paying for the funeral and is often resentful of his family. Lucille is the family's sensible, grounding presence, who takes charge of the funeral details.
