Yesterday we had the privilege of performing at the Hamburger Festival in Hamburg, PA. As friends of Tommy Vollmer, and the help of Keith Sell, we had a fantastic time. What an event! Also, great hamburgers!! 🍔🎶🇺🇸

When I heard the awful news today of Dolly Parton passing, I immediately thought of my Uncle Bill and some of the stories he would tell us about working with her. As you may know, my Uncle Bill worked with Dolly, Tanya Tucker and Eddie Rabbitt in Nashville. He told me the story about when he auditioned for Dolly to be in her band. He played his guitar and she was really impressed. He then told her that he knew all her songs on fiddle as well. He asked her if he could play a few. She said yes of course and so he took out his fiddle. When he set the bow down on the strings the fiddle snapped in half and fell to pieces. Well, Dolly laughed and laughed and finally said, “Well, I’ll just have to take your word for it!” Such a great story! Uncle Bill also brought Dolly up here to the Lehigh Valley to hear my dad, Uncle Dean and Uncle David play. She loved them so much she invited them down to her studio in Nashville to record an album. My Pappy also recorded an album playing the accordion. Dolly was so kind that she wrote beautiful messages on the back of both albums. Here are a few pics I’d like to share. Dolly is holding my sister as a baby next to my Mem. Rest in peace, Dolly. You will be missed! -Jay

Last month the band performed once again at Alburtis Park. Huge thanks to our special guest, Keith Sell, from The Majestics. He filled in while Trish was away and did an amazing job! Special thanks to John for having us at the park that day. Back again next month.
