So many hobbies & projects...so little time!

We had a great time last week diving into our backyard projects...but some other things like knitting projects & content creation fell be the wayside in the meantime.

Working on getting things a little more organized and structured around here so I can really start accomplishing all of the different projects (both business & personal), instead of constantly jumping around from one project to another.. 😅

Planning ahead, organizing & getting s**t done here I come!

We got Jayla her first bike yesterday and I’m not sure what she loves more..the bike..
.or the helmet! 🤣

Swipe ⏩ to see a few of the many activities Jayla has been doing with her helmet on! 😅

I also included a shot of one of the first bobble flowers I made..which has now made its way into Jayla’s dollhouse (in the first pic) as a funky rug! ✌🏻🧡

Hello Spring!👋🏻 🌸 🌱

The temperature is creeping its way back up this weekend & I’m hoping it just keeps climbing and never looks back!!

Had a chance to do a little porch knitting..
.of course moments after this photo was taken, disaster struck as Jay & Jenny managed to tag team spilling my coffee. 😅 (thank goodness it missed my project!)

I did still manage finish up my first round of Bobble Flower Face Scrubbies though!😁👍🏻 I’ll be photographing them tomorrow & will hopefully be adding them to my shop as well. (🤞🏻my internet cooperates!)

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️💚

Saw this idea on and had to give it a try!
* Note: You can use the top, middle or bottom of the pepper to make your stamp. Whichever you like best ☺️*

How do you weigh in on this whole Permanent Daylight Savings Time discussion?

I have to admit I was a little torn...

Sure it throws me off for about a week, but if it’s for the farmers...then it’s really not so bad is it?

Then I started reading up on it a bit, and what do ya know..
.farmers are actually some of the main lobbyist against the daylight savings time change and have been since day one! Like most of us, it throws a wrench in their schedule. I mean think about it, even the dairy cows schedules are getting thrown off.

Daylight Savings Time was actually started as a war effort to conserve fuel during WWI & WWII and had nothing to do with farming at all. In fact, when it was first introduced in 1918 it was so unpopular with the agrarian society that it was repealed in 1919. 🤯

It was brought back again for WWII, but wasn’t uniform across all states until 1966. Hawaii & Arizona did however both end up opting out of the law by 1968.

Daylight Savings Time or not...I’m just happy that Spring is only just around the corner now, the days are getting longer, and my spring knitting has begun!

I don’t know about you...
.but a full day of unplugging is exactly doctor ordered! We even got to spend a little quality time with some of our family and friends. ❤️

Here’s the birthday present I whipped up for a special little boy who turned 1 this weekend!

This is one you may want to actually celebrate!

Tomorrow is and we will be taking full advantage. I mean, who doesn’t love a good excuse to unplug from our many screens for a whole day?

We like to keep things pretty unplugged on the regular, but tomorrow I plan on setting my screen time limits on all of my apps for the entire day (except for calling & texting.) and keeping our TV off as well. We’ve got a busy day planned so I’m sure we will hardly notice. ☺️

Will you be unplugging tomorrow?

Jayla has decided not to sleep with her new dragon friend but..
.she does want him to stand guard next to her nightlight at bedtime! Whatever works for her sleeping at night..works for me! 👌🏻
