Well, Seat At The Table family, this is not a post I wanted to have to make. Before we officially became “Seat At The Table 615” and I was just doing this through my personal account, our second ever initiative was with East Nashville’s beloved South Indian restaurant, 615Chutney. As many if you remember, various “For Rent” signs have been showing up there since even before our initiative. You can probably sense where this is going at this point, so to get to the point, 615 Chutney’s last day of business in Five Points is April 17th. Niroop is currently scouting locations across Nashville, but hasn’t had any luck yet. So, while not a formal reimbursement initiative, I have two requests:

1. All this week, please show your support - both moral and fiscal - to Niroop and 615 Chutney. We need to show him, again, how much we love him and his food.

2. If anyone has any leads, connections, whatever to a potential location for Niroop to reopen (or a connection to somebody that would know of a place), please reach out to me and/or Niroop. Hopefully we can collectively find a new home (preferably on the east side)!

Wow. Tonight’s the night, our first night of reopening. I am so nervous and excited. For those of you coming out this week to support us, thank you and I hope you come with an open heart to all the changes and improvements we’ve been making. We are thrilled to be serving you one again. To those who could not get a reservation- I hope you will come another time. We still have a few slots later in the evening Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If not, we will be back at it Wed. 3/3 - Sun. 3/7 5-9pm. Dinner is by reservation, but if there is room we would love to have you drop in for just a cocktail or a frozen drink. I am so sorry and disappointed that We are not able to do deliveries or take out just yet. (So much more to manage in covid than every before). This morning,Tuesday Feb. 16th, our Frankie flew past me in the doorway( on Lillian St. b/w 15th and 16th ) and darted into snow. He is still not home and it is cold. If see please respond to this post. He is a skittish nervous cat- so approaching him or yelling out nane loudly makes things worse. Fingers crossed!
