Happy holidays everyone 🎉 I hope we can all enjoy these nexts months considering the strange state the world is in, right?

Anyway.
I swear, it feels like it was 70+ degrees yesterday (really a few weeks ago). But now we are down to 17 frigid degrees this week at the lowest. Jacket weather. But also “I have to clear my windows of the ice” kind of weather.

This weekend I wanted to try something new. I wanted to convey the calming feeling of entering water and what lies beneath by using some new colors and movements.
As we move into day-dreamy ♓️ Pisces season, there is a sense of calm and a shift in reality.
✅ I posted a poll this weekend, and the results revealed many water sign followers! 😍 Nice to meet all you fellow water signs!

“Temporary stay, but not for long.”
This piece was made back in 2021, and it was during a moment in time when I felt it was hard to capture what I was feeling. I just needed to get this… indescribable sense out of me. Do you ever have those days where you just can’t put a name to something? Things seem structured, bright and solid, but theres a murky undertone that something could come along at a moments notice to change everything.
•
Many times these undertones are the universe telling us to not get too comfortable, and that we should not stagnate. To always be at the ready. Much of the time the universe throws these flags as opportunities for us to push ourselves out of our comfort zones.
•
I wanted to capture this feeling in a positive and constructive light. I named this piece “Sojourn” because these moments in time, though unpredictable, are only temporary.
•
