my first traffic box is up! whoop whoop!

so excited to get to work with Boise Arts & History to create this new traffic box installation! My design highlights the oldest & largest geothermal system in the country (below downtown Boise!!). As it wraps around the box it takes the viewer through how the whole heating and distribution system works. 💧

it was such an honor to get to create new art for Boise & my hope is that my design not only brightens the street but fosters a small moment of learning.

this mural really did change my life and showed me how capable I really was as an artist!! I never thought I could paint some thing so large scale & permanent. Still obessed with how it turned out :)

am I the only one who things hand painted wallpaper has some old charm!

as an artist I have a wayyyy easier time painting patterned wallpaper than glueing it to a wall. Paint is was more forgiving than wallpaper!
