When you love a songwriter they never really leave. They live inside lyrics, your favorite songs, and advice given to budding songwriters they come across on stages, classrooms, and every day conversations.

Karen Reynolds was one of those songwriters. She was one of the first people that taught me to take up every bit of space I needed on or off the stage.
She spent a lot of time building up her community, and ensured that future songwriters were nurtured.
When we were given a donation in her memory it was not only an honor, but was so fitting because that kind of work is what we are doing with the Songs That Save Foundation.
So thank you Terry and Karen on behalf of the Myrtle Beach Songwriters Festival.

Hello everyone!
We had over 250 submissions for the Myrtle Beach Songwriters Festival!! That is unheard of for a first year festival!
Things keep getting better and better!
Thank you to everyone who has shared, supported, or joined in on our excitement. We are so stoked to share this festival with our community.
We have had a lot of people ask us about about vending and we are happy to announce that applications are live!

Flash back to one of the first events in the Myrtle Beach area. The Stoke Sessions was held at and even though it rained the whole day, people showed up and celebrated original music. I think we had around 15 musicians playing. The end of the night jam was one of those, “ you should have been there” moments. I can’t wait to see what the end of the night jam at this years festival will be like. I’m so glad this memory popped up. Humble and epic beginnings are leading to some pretty amazing things.
