Muskegon Public Schools has been named a 2026 Best Community for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation!

This national recognition, now in its 27th year, celebrates school districts that are committed to giving every student access to a music education — not just a few, but all students, at every grade level.

— 4th Grade Performance at the Frauenthal Theater in Downtown Muskegon (ticketed event)
— CHMS & MHS Spring Choir Concert — 7:00 PM at Muskegon High School Auditorium

🌟 Wednesday, May 13
— Bunker Elementary Kindergarten & 1st Grade Concert — 5:30 PM at Bunker Elementary School

🌟 Thursday, May 14
— Bunker Elementary 2nd & 3rd Grade Concert — 5:30 PM at Bunker Elementary School
— CHMS Band Spring Concert — 7:00 PM at Charles Hackley Middle School Gymnasium

The 2026 MPS Festival of the Arts is coming to Muskegon High School!

Join Muskegon Public Schools on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 for an unforgettable evening celebrating the incredible talent across Muskegon Public Schools!

Here's what you can look forward to:
-MPS K–12 Art Show — student artwork from across the district on display
-Live performances from our talented arts students
-CHMS Step Team performance
-MPS Orchestra Concert at 7:00 PM
-Information and activities from community organizations

This is a free, family-friendly event — no tickets, no charge. Just come out and celebrate the Arts!
