Step into the night with The Creature Feature Bath Bar: Count Cleanula! šŸ¦‡āœØ
This bar is a flawless, intoxicating mix of masculine and feminine energy—because let’s be honest, Count Cleanula is an absolute icon of gender fluidity (we’re joking, but also... are we? šŸ§›ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ’…).
The fragrance is absolutely to die for. It opens with soft, romantic rose, settles into an edgy hint of leather, and finishes with a rich touch of mahogany. It smells exactly like the elegant, upscale barbershop where Count Dracula would get a fresh trim before a big night out on the town.
As the label warns, side effects of using this soap may include involuntary cape swishing, staring longingly out of windows, and having skin that looks immortal.

Movie Review: Tusk (2014)
I know this one is a highly divisive film. The first time I saw it a few years ago, I was pretty indifferent—it was different, and it really grossed me out. I haven't historically been a huge body horror fan, although I've been warming up to the subgenre over the past year.
But I recently threw this Kevin Smith wild ride back on, and I have to say: I absolutely loved it this time around.
It is incredibly effective and, yes, very gross. But what surprised me the most was how much it made me feel. It dragged out a mix of pure hatred for the horrible antagonist, but also a profound sadness for the human condition. On top of that, the acting from every single person involved is absolutely fantastic. This bizarre tape is definitely finding a permanent home on the shelves at Stovepipe’s Grime Rewind. Honestly, it's a pretty damn good movie.
My Rating: šŸŒ•šŸŒ•šŸŒ•šŸŒ•šŸŒ‘ (4 out of 5 Moons)
šŸŽ„ Behind the Scenes Trivia:
• From Podcast to Picture: The entire concept was born from a prank ad on Gumtree offering free lodging to anyone willing to dress in a "realistic walrus suit." Kevin Smith found the ad, discussed it on his SModcast, and then asked his Twitter followers to vote or to decide if he should make the movie. The internet overwhelmingly voted yes!
• One-Take Wonder: Johnny Depp (who plays eccentric inspector Guy Lapointe) didn't learn his opening monologue beforehand because a script misprint made him think it was going to be read off-camera. Once he realized he was physically on screen, he memorized the massive block of dialogue in five minutes and nailed the scene in a single take.
• Family Affair: The two deeply unhelpful convenience store clerks are actually played by Kevin Smith’s daughter (Harley Quinn Smith) and Johnny Depp’s daughter (Lily-Rose Depp).

Big update from the woods! šŸŒ²šŸ“¼ First off, I hope everyone is having an amazing Memorial Day weekend!
I’ve got some big news: ā€œWerewolf Video and Curious Craftsā€ is officially getting a rebrand. Welcome to the new era of Stovepipe’s Grime Rewind! (Huge shoutout to my partner for coming up with such a killer name).
As part of this new chapter, I’m making a few changes. I’m going to be stepping away from doing custom VHS tapes. It’s incredibly tough on the equipment, and honestly, custom design work just isn’t where my true passion lies.
Instead, we are going completely holistic and focusing on the good stuff! Here is what you can expect from Stovepipe’s Grime Rewind moving forward:
šŸ“¼ Killer VHS mixes & retro culture
🧼 Handcrafted soaps
šŸ§›ā€ā™‚ļø Horror host fun
šŸæ Movie reviews
šŸ¹ And… Cocktails! (I just got hired to bartend at an awesome bookstore, so expect some fun drink content too!)
I’ll still be collaborating with my designer, Michael Glowacki, to whip up some rad projects, but the channel is going to be a much broader, more interactive mix of all the things we love.
Thanks to everyone who has supported me so far. Here’s to the new chapter—let’s rewind! āŖšŸ“¼
What are you most excited to see from the new page? Let me know in the comments! šŸ‘‡

First off, I am so incredibly thankful for all your support lately—it means the absolute world to me. šŸ“¼šŸ§¼
That being said, I desperately need to unplug for some quality family time, and I badly need to lock myself in the workshop to finish off this final batch of VHS customs. Once these are securely in the mail, we’ll be officially moving on to the next chapter of Stovepipe’s Grime Rewind!
Look, I completely understand that waiting sucks, and let’s be real—independent internet commerce can always feel a little fishy when things suddenly go quiet. But in all honesty and directness, I am taking this time away from the inbox and DMs strictly so I can pour all my focus into making these customs the absolute best they can be for you.
If I don’t shut out the noise and put my head down, they will simply never get finished.
Thank you for trusting the process, for your patience, and for being rad. I’ll be back at it and answering messages on Tuesday! āœŒļø

Listen in bio!!!!

I really truly hope this gets to everybody and spreads far and wide because we all know that Lord Adidas Sandals berries, everything, and anything that is made by a small scale creative. So I am releasing a cover album. A lot of the songs, oddly enough, our old glam rock songs that I love, but also there’s some John Prine and Margot and the Nuclear So & So’s and more.

This is the first release. It’s a cover of kiss me deadly by the great Lita Ford. This is one of my all-time favorite songs, but I always felt that the original was a little dated. So I tried to give it a reinterpretation. I think it’s really great. I think this is the best thing I’ve ever recorded and I’m excited to see how it informs future original songs. It was co-produced and engineered by Matt Ten Clay at Amber Lit Audio.

I am doing all of the instruments, and Matt put his bass playing pros to good work.

I am going the legal route with this song and paying for some limited mechanical licensing so that the original songwriter can get the royalties and to keep me out of trouble.

It would mean the world to me if you would like this and share this. This project was not cheap to make. It would mean the world to me if you could tip me a little bit for it. Details below. Song also below.

šŸ“¼ NEW DIRECTION, SAME OLD BLOODLUST šŸ“¼
Hey campers, Jason Voorhees here. Took a quick breather from chasing teens through the woods to let you in on some massive news.
Tonight, I’m hijacking the airwaves to host the very first episode of VHS WEREWOLF PRESENTS! šŸŗšŸ“¼ The Werewolf himself landed his hairy self in lockup (turns out biting six people gets you arrested, who knew?), so I’m taking the wheel and bringing you a proper horror host watch party.
For our grand debut, we are watching a certified 1986 cult classic together: The Sorority House Massacre. 🩸
Grab your popcorn and your favorite weapon, because as we watch, we’re going to dissect:
• The film’s bizarre, Lynchian, dream-like atmosphere. 🪵✨
• The refreshing, total absence of the typical male gaze.
• Powerful underlying themes of ultimate survival and sisterhood. šŸŖµšŸ’Ŗ
• ...And why it just flat-out rules as a slasher.
The final edits are being spliced together as we speak. Keep your eyes peeled, your VCRs ready, and get ready to watch with me tonight!
Drop a comment below if you’re joining the watch party, or let me know what cult horror flick we need to host next! šŸ‘‡
