What better way to close out Muscle Shoals Meets Dolly than with Ashley Brown and the entire cast bringing “9 to 5” to the stage together? 🦋✨

A huge thank you to United Way of Northwest Alabama for inviting Muscle Shoals Meets to be part of such a special night, to every artist who brought these songs to life, and to everyone who purchased a ticket and filled the room.

Most importantly, every ticket helped support Imagination Library and its work to put books into the hands of children across our community.

11 years ago Earl McGuire asked me if he could hire the Fiddleworms to play a concert to raise money for a local charity that provides counseling for grieving children. It took 2 years and forces beyond anything I could ever imagine or create but yesterday we were able to donate $23,500 to The Healing Place! This will include a new sensory room that they desperately need. This is the 9th year we have supported Karen and the great work they are doing. It was an honor to meet Karen’s Dad yesterday. This is only possible because of the 145 musicians, everyone who bought a ticket, and the following sponsors. Photos by Devona Hawkins. I love this town ❤️

It’s been an exciting week for Muscle Shoals Meets. We unveiled the new playground at Brooks Elementary on Tuesday, and tomorrow, we get to celebrate the opening at L.E. Willson.

In honor of the big day, L.E. Willson Principal Jill Johnson is sharing the story behind the project and how it evolved from an idea into a gathering space for all her students to experience.

✨ And this playground belongs to everyone who helped make it possible. If you bought a ticket, dropped money in the tip jar, donated, or supported Muscle Shoals Meets in any way, you helped bring this space to life. Thank you for being part of it.
