Come hang out with us at 11AM in Downtown Hammond!
We’re meeting in the alleyway between the Towle Theater and Paul Henry’s Art Gallery with a suitcase full of thrifted clothes, Esmeralda modeling, and absolutely no need to know what you’re doing before you get there.
Bring your camera. Bring your phone. Bring yourself.
We’ll explore photography, lighting, composition, posing, styling and how to get creative with whatever you have in your hands.
Already a photographer? COME CREATE WITH US. Shoot alongside us, experiment, collaborate, meet other creatives and grab some new work for your portfolio.

NORTHWEST INDIANA, SHARE YOUR STORY. ❤️

Over the last few days, all across Northwest Indiana, we have experienced this storm through completely different eyes. Now we want to hear your story.

Share what you captured. Your neighborhood, the sky, the trees, the cleanup, businesses stepping up, neighbors helping neighbors, kids being kids, the heartbreaking moments and the beautiful ones in between.

Phone photos. Camera photos. It doesn’t matter. They don’t have to be perfect. They just have to be yours.

Drop your photo in the comments and, if you’d like, tell us where it was taken or share the story behind it. Your photo is your entry.

As a small way of giving back, 10 families will be randomly selected to receive a FREE full family photo session with me. No judging and no “best” photo. Just 10 families chosen at random. We’ll announce the 10 families later next week.

Happy National Sunflower Day. 🌻

This portrait features my beautiful cousin, Shannon, from my Dirt Series.

Every portrait in this series was created with its own story. Fashion, florals, paint, makeup, found objects, texture, and symbolism all became part of the creative process. For Shannon's portrait, we surrounded her with sunflowers and wildflowers, even incorporating delicate dragonfly wings to create something that felt both strong and beautifully ethereal.

I've always loved working with flowers, especially sunflowers. They represent warmth, resilience, hope, and the quiet reminder that growth often happens long before anyone else can see it.

Looking back at this image today reminds me why I created this body of work in the first place. Art has a way of preserving a moment, a feeling, and a season of life that we can return to years later.

Thank you, Shannon, for trusting me with this vision and for bringing such grace to this series. I'll always be grateful that we created this together. ❤️
