🌿✨ Hello again, friends. ✨🌿

I know I haven’t been around much lately, but I have a pretty good reason... I gained another familiar. 🖤🐾

Meet Luci, the newest addition to our little family. He has settled in wonderfully and fits right in with the rest of our fur babies, as though he has always belonged here. 🌙

Between helping Luci adjust, enjoying all the excitement that comes with a new companion, and keeping up with everyday life, social media has taken a bit of a back seat. But I’m still here, still creating, and still dreaming up new projects behind the scenes.

Thank you for sticking around during my quieter moments. I’m looking forward to sharing more artwork, garden updates, magical creations, and of course, occasional appearances from Bean & Luci. ✨🐈‍⬛🌿

✨🌿 Gathering From the Earth 🌿✨

Lately I’ve been spending time foraging branches, sticks, and natural pieces to incorporate into future artwork and creations. There’s something deeply grounding about wandering, gathering, cleaning, and carefully preparing these materials by hand before they become part of something new. 🍂

Each piece is cleaned, dried, and sealed with care — preserving the natural textures and character while giving them new purpose within my art. I’ve been feeling increasingly called to work with more natural embellishments wherever I can, allowing the earth itself to become part of the storytelling. 🌱✨

Twisted branches, weathered textures, bits of woodland magic — all carrying their own quiet history into the work. 🌙

The website may only hold a small handful of pieces right now — a few frames and trays currently available — but behind the scenes, so much more is taking root. 🌱✨

I’ve been pouring energy into expanding my herb garden, working on new paintings, transforming mirrors, creating spell jars, and dreaming up future offerings still waiting to come to life. Every piece is crafted slowly and intentionally, allowing the magic to unfold naturally. 🌙

🌊✨ Another World Beginning to Form ✨🌊

Started another painting that’s pulling heavily from water energy — flowing, reflective, mysterious, and ever-changing. Right now I’m still letting it decide what it wants to become. Ocean? River? Pond? Lake? Something entirely its own? 🌙💧

I love this part of the process where the piece hasn’t fully revealed itself yet. The colors, movement, textures, and tiny details slowly begin guiding the direction naturally.

For now, it exists somewhere between stillness and current — and I’m excited to see where it carries me. ✨

✨🌿 Into the Fairy Jungle 🌿✨

Another piece currently growing wild on my canvas — a fairy jungle-inspired world filled with earthy tones, hidden magic, and little details waiting to emerge. 🍄🧚‍♀️🌱

It’s far from finished yet. I still want to build more depth into the painting, add embellishments, touches of glitter, texture, and all the tiny elements that make a piece feel truly alive. Lately I’ve also been doodling new plants, creatures, and forest-inspired additions to weave into the scene as it evolves. ✨

I love letting paintings unfold naturally like this — slowly layering imagination, curiosity, and a bit of enchantment into every corner. 🌙

✨🌿 A Glimpse Into the Studio 🌿✨

One of the pieces currently taking shape on my table — an earthy floral painting accompanied by tiny snails and fluttering butterflies. 🍄🦋🐌

It’s still unfinished, slowly unfolding layer by layer, but I wanted to share a small peek into the process. I’ve been working on several creations behind the scenes lately, each carrying its own energy, textures, and story.

I love this stage of creating — where everything still feels alive with possibility and the piece begins revealing what it wants to become. ✨

🌿✨ Pisces Season & New Beginnings ✨🌿

I just celebrated my birthday — yay for Pisces season! ♓💫 It was a simple, grounding weekend with the family: taking the dogs for a walk through the woods, breathing in the fresh air, and starting to wake the garden back up again.

I’ve begun cleaning out the greenhouse and letting the garden ideas start flowing. There will definitely be pickles and dilly beans happening this year, and probably a few other canned goodies if the harvest allows. 🥒🌱

I also received a sewing machine as a gift, which I’m really excited about. Once I get some fabric, I’ll be experimenting with tarot card wraps and seeing where that craft takes me. ✨

And the little homestead news — the ladies (my chickens) have started laying again, which always feels like a sure sign of spring returning. We may even be adding some ducks to the mix soon! 🐓🦆

Lots of small joys, new projects, and fresh inspiration on the horizon. 🌸

🌿✨ A Little Life Update ✨🌿

I’ve been a bit quiet lately because I’ve been under the weather, so things slowed down for a moment. I’m finally starting to feel better and easing my way back into creating again.

I’ll be returning to the Hekate frame soon to continue building out the details and energy within the piece. In the meantime, I’ve been spending some quiet time sketching and working on zodiac mandalas — currently deep in the intensity and mystery of Scorpio. ♏

With the weather warming up, I’m also looking forward to bringing resin back into the process, since good ventilation makes all the difference. There are quite a few ideas waiting patiently to come to life.

✨🌙 Evolving the Craft 🌙✨

I’ve been refining my frame-making process and exploring a new layer within it — incorporating resin as a base for certain embellishments. This allows me to preserve herbs, florals, and symbolic elements more securely while adding depth, texture, and dimension to each piece.

Currently, I’m working on a Hekate devotional frame — building the foundation with intention, layering paint, preparing the herbs, and setting the structure for what will become a powerful and meaningful creation. 🖤🌿

There’s something incredibly grounding about this stage — the quiet before everything fully comes together. The preparation. The intention-setting. The honoring of each element before it finds its permanent place.

I’ll be sharing glimpses of the herbs, painting process, and frame structure here. Watching a piece unfold is part of the magic. ✨

Amethyst has always felt like a quiet guardian to me — soft yet powerful, gentle yet deeply protective. Its violet hues hold the energy of intuition, clarity, and calm.

In the craft, it’s often turned to for spiritual protection, heightened awareness, peaceful sleep, and connection to higher wisdom. It carries a steady presence — grounding the mind while opening the spirit.

Whether resting on an altar, woven into artwork, or kept close during reflection, amethyst reminds us to slow down… to listen inward… and to trust what we already know. 🌙
