Peace in the park SF On September 17, San Francisco will come together at Bandshell in Golden Gate Park to celebrate peace in an inspiring, clean, and entertaining festival

Peace in the Park festival brings together the San Francisco and surrounding communities for a rejuvenating day of peaceful activities for all ages and backgrounds. The festival was created in response to the growing levels of stress which can manifest in ways that are damaging to our communities. The September 17th festival will feature world music and visual artists, tai chi, hatha yoga, life-en

hancing seminars, kids activities, exhibits by local non-profits, and meditation experiences where individuals can explore a variety of ways to unplug and unwind. At the lovely Bandshell of Golden Gate Park, this event will demonstrate how to nurture peace even while living in a fast-paced urban environment. The event is offered free of charge in partnership with The Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center, the SF Mayor's Office, Stanford University CCARE and several other peace-oriented organizations.
