💀 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Aaron Pozdol💀

Our next Artist Spotlight is Aaron Pozdol who is making his MVLCT debut as Ronnie in Skin and Bone.

Break a Leg, Aaron! Just don't let certain cast members hear you say that--they make take it as a menu suggestion.🍗

Name: Aaron Pozdol

What role do you have/play in Skin & Bone? Ronnie

What is your favorite family tradition?
Not eating people, that's for sure! Non-anthropophagic Kristkindlmarkt, probably.

What family recipes do you hope keep passing down through the generations?
My chili, sans sapien (of course!!!)

What is your favorite meal? Pig (not the long kind) chow fun

Have you ever been on a memorable road trip?
Yes! As to where, I have been advised by counsel not to comment.

Aaron Pozdol (Ronnie) is thrilled to debut at MVLCT AND to be directed by his genius spouse. Aaron has been recently seen at Riverside Theatre as George/Lord Harold in "I, Will: A Late Romance" and as Major Metcalf in "The Mousetrap", Theatre Cedar Rapids as Freddie/Phillip in "Noises Off!", Dreamwell Theatre as Eddie in "The Legend of Georgia McBride, and Crooked Path Theatre as Glenn Stevens in "We'll Get Back To You", both locally and at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe. Thank you to MVLCT for producing such incredible work and to Carrie and the kids for their love and support.

💀 SKIN AND BONE ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: SAMANTHA NORTON💀

Our first Artist Spotlight is our Stage Manager, Sam!! From Jesus Christ Superstar to Skin and Bone--Sam's second production with MVLCT is taking them from biblical drama to cannibalistic sisters in rural Florida. Apparently, they weren't scared off by the first one!

Name: Samantha Norton

What role do you have/play in Skin & Bone? Stage Manager

What is your favorite family tradition? Throughout the year, we write down memories and put in it a vase. On new years eve, while we wait for the ball to drop, we read all the memories from the year. It's always fun to see what we have duplicates of or remember things we've forgotten

What family recipes do you hope keep passing down through the generations?
All of our cookie recipes!

What is your favorite meal?
Any meal as long as there's ice cream for dessert :)

Have you ever been on a memorable road trip?
Yes! When I was eight, we took a family road trip to Saint Louis and made many stops on our way there and back! It was one of my first vacations

Samantha Norton (Stage Manager) is a freshman at Cornell College and will be majoring in theatre on the production and design track. Previously at MVLCT, Sam was the fill-in Stage Manager of the last weekend of Jesus Christ Superstar. Outside of MVLCT, Sam has done backstage crew for multiple productions at Theatre Cedar Rapids. Sam would like to thank J Tucker and everyone involved in S&B, supporting her during this new process and helping her learn.

For Ben, the impossible has suddenly become possible. For Abby, the consequences are anything but simple.

Only TWO chances left to see this Elliott Studio Series production.
