Open Mic Night at Kaya Coffee House Open Mic Night is a once-a-week opportunity for performers of all kinds to share their talents in a each Wednesday night.

Here, you'll find everything you need to know about Kaya Coffee House's Open Mic Night, held EVERY* Wednesday night during the school year! You'll also find information about local music and events happening around Mount Pleasant. Whether you're a music maker or an innocent bystander, Open Mic Night at Kaya Coffee House is a great place to satisfy your soul. With a variety of different performers

including all kinds of musicians and vocalists, comedians, poets, writers, and more, we strive to be a place for you to share your art with an accepting audience. There are six (6) available time slots from 8:00-10:30p.m., every half hour (8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, etc.) Ask a barista at Kaya or call 989.772.9016 to sign-up to perform.

*Keep in mind, folks...whether it's cruddy weather, illness, or something else, sometimes things come up. Open Mic Night details are subject to change with minimal notice. But we'll try our hardest to let you know everything we know.

Storybook, Hannah Rae Beale, Sam & Cory, Dillon & Ryan, Alex Macksey, and Adam Marth are our Battle of the Mic IV finalists! The Final Showdown will be this Wednesday. Come support these artists as they play for their chance at $100! The night will also include a special performance by our favorite Balkan-Klezmer-Gypsy band, Kavazabava!

Just a heads up...Open Mic Nights on April 3rd and 10th are now completely full! This means there are only a few spots left on the 17th, the last truly 'open' mic night of the semester! We will pick our 4th finalist tomorrow night.
