Does anyone in Knoxville have a 3/4 size guitar in a color other than your typical spruce light top... sunburst or mahogany or something more feminine looking that a teen girl would play that I can borrow for a couple days?? It will be in a movie!!

We are so excited to announce the addition of 9 year-old Abigail Pierce of Franklin, TN to our Torch Cast as "Sadie"! We loved her audition and we could feel her sweet personality shining right through the screen! We can't wait to see how she becomes Sadie in this story and we can't wait for all of you to see her grow and take on this important role in our short film. Congrats Abigail!

We are so thrilled to announce that the awesome Megan Alexander has been cast as “Keira” in our upcoming short film of “The Best Thing About Christmas” The Movie! You know her from , Thursday Night Football, and in films such as God Is Not Dead 3 and Redeemed. She is a seasoned producer, actor, singer, speaker, and hosts “Small Town Christmas” on UPTV. On top of that, she is a best selling author with her 4th book now in the works! We could not be more exited to welcome her to the team as we look to put this film on the map in the coming months and years. Stay tuned for more on Megan’s journey with us on set!

We are looking for a couple more crew members for our Angel Torch shoot for "The Best Thing About Christmas" happening the week of Sep 16th. Looking for an experienced lighting tech who can add value to our project. We will be shooting in Nashville and Knoxville and this is a paid gig. We could also use a second camera/shooter for some BTS footage. If this sounds like you or you know someone please let me know ASAP. We have a stellar cast and crew coming together for this short film!

We're excited to announce we are casting for our Angel Torch!

Here are the details:

Male (Nick) - 30's-50's look, great singer, natural confident actor
Female (Keira) - 30's-40's, great singer, great actor
Teen Female (Molly) - (15-18) Pop/Country singing voice, charismatic
Pre-Teen Female (Sadie) - (6-10) Pure natural voice, great actor
Teen Male (Zane) - (15-17) great actor, great personality/charisma
Pre-Teen Male (Zeke) - (10-14) great actor, great personality/charisma

If you fit any of these descriptions and are interested in being a part of this project please email your video audition of two of your preferred sides (30-60 each) and at least one song where we can hear your voice well. This will be a very good opportunity to work with a seasoned director on a fantastic up and coming screenplay project. We anticipate that this Torch will lead to the chance to make the full film and will be seen by many in the industry. Can't wait to see your auditions!

Please submit auditions to [email protected] no later than July 5th to be considered for this intimate cast. We are casting all as local Nashville/Knoxville actors and you will be responsible for your travel to set unless otherwise arranged with production. What can I say but THANK YOU. We're funded with at least 43 backers which is just awesome. So thankful for all of you and for those who have helped spread the word.
