You spend all day checking things off for everyone else. Dinner, permission slips, the thing your boss needed by EOD.

And at the end of it you’re supposed to feel… fulfilled?

There’s something nobody really talks about, which is that accomplishment that comes from making something just for you. Not productive. Not useful to anyone else. Just yours.

That’s what stitching gave me. And I’d love to give that to you too.
