😎Soil to Snack Day 5
We enjoyed a visit from Vets in Training and Kim helped us learn about different animal diets
🤎 We made homemade whipped cream & 🍓Strawberry shortcake cups
🙌 What a great group of kids!!

🍅Soil to Snack Day 3
😎We were treated to a garden tour by the master gardeners that maintain the culinary garden.
👩‍🌾👨‍🌾We planted mini gardens with marigolds, basil & dill. We learned that marigolds and basil are great companion plants to ward off hornworms.
👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 In the kitchen we made salsa & dill dip.

We made homemade granola, washed and cut our fresh fruit 🍓🫐, assembled our parfaits
🐦Hung natural bird feeders around the property
➰️The tie in~Just as we enjoy seeds & fruit so do birds 🐦
😎 Everyone went home with their own bird feeder & fruit & seed bird food
