Hey Folks! We are back! We just re-opened this week after meeting all the challenges of COVID-19 with heavy cleaning, remodeling and restoration! We are only open for 50% capacity for dine-in so making a reservation is crucial as each guest only has one and one/half hour seating time maximum to allow for everyone else trying to get in to the Windsor! We made many improvements, and although we are wearing masks you will know who we are! Come by and see us and visit the new Windsor Rose updates, (still in progress) call for reservations 352-735-2551! Remember we are CLOSED on Wednesday, but other than that we are on summer hours and open the Fourth of July!🇬🇧🌹💂‍♀️

A special thanks to Dan Riley at U.S. Foods! A very special thanks to Crissy Stiles at Barrel of Books, not only from Paul & I but from "Meanie" & "Sweetie" ! Thanks to all the staff at The Goblin Market for being great neighbors! A special nod to Brent & Mark! Cheers to Nick Grounds at the British-American Chamber! A great big British Banger to Kate and Phil Barnard at Magical Meat Boutique! Thanks to one of my favorite shops in Mount Dora--The WOW Factory for making me laugh every time I cross your threshold! Life just wouldn't be complete without all of your help and support! Love, Marsha & Paul, and all of our staff!

PLEASE....

We have a very heavy heart today, just like so many others in our industry, our businesses all took a direct hit this afternoon when Florida Governor DeSantas announced that there is a ban on all dine-in restaurants. We will try "Take Out" only-- even though it is not in our repertoire on Saturday 03-21-2020 before deciding what to do. We have had to "lay off" nearly all our staff today. It both saddens me and worries me because they are a real part of our family, some with over seven years with us, day-to-day in the trenches. I am concerned for all the merchants in Mount Dora. I think of all of our first res-ponders who will be coming up close and personal fighting this pandemic. I can not emphasize how much small businesses that get to remain open for now need your support. Our personal favorites, (books, boutiques, specialty merchants) will suffer with the closure of the restaurants. All the great people we surround ourselves with every day will vanish from the streets. Oh my Gosh! Chris our postman who goes in and out of every building--I hope he will be safe. All our vendors, what will happen to them? I worry about everyone we have employed over the years including all of our favorite musicians: Petrina, Alan Darcy, Andrea Tyler, Safia Valines and Ennis Pruiett, to name a few. We will miss seeing our customers the most-- because they are "family". We will miss all of "The Orlando Storytellers" that treat our customers to fun every second Tuesday of the month. Together, we have built a huge following for them in the past five years within our walls.I worry about everyone's livelihood, and health. We hope that things will return to a "new" normal in the passing weeks, and that we get to host everyone again soon. In the meantime, please be safe, stay healthy, let us know how you are coping and stay in touch. Most importantly take care of those that need help around you without endangering yourselves. We hope to wish you all well in person soon! Check our website: www.windsorrose-tearoom.com, and our answering machine 352-735-2551 for our up-to-date status--but give it a day or two--I've already had to change it multiple times in the last week as the government regulations change. IF YOU ARE SICK PLEASE GET MEDICAL HELP and then SELF-QUARANTINE.. We all need to take steps to eradicate this virus! Good health to all of you from all of us--Marsha & Paul and our entire Windsor team!🇬🇧🌹

I am reaching out to you today regarding a fundraising event that has personal meaning for me. It is A Night In My Shoes, benefits children diagnosed with cancer. I can fully appreciate the unique challenges children have when fighting cancer.

I write to see if you would consider sponsoring the event. I am sure there are always a lot of “asks” for sponsorship so in any case I hope to see you at the event in October.

A Night In My Shoes, benefitting Kids Beating Cancer and Ringside Charitable Trust will be held at the brand new JW Marriott Bonnet Creek.

The physical and mental obstacles overcome by children fighting cancer and championship boxers are a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Over the course of two evenings this October, we will pay tribute to their strength and courage and raise funds for their care.

October 15th | Champions Evening
· Featuring some of UK's greatest boxers
· The mediated discussion will inspire combat fans as well as anyone encouraged by the power of the human spirit.

October 16th | Black Tie Gala
· Lavish Black Tie Gala Affair
· Cocktail reception, formal dinner, program, live entertainment, dancing all night long, and silent auction.
· Live performances and immersive entertainment all night long.

Please give it some thought about how you can help out, be it a sponsorship, donation, auction item or purchase tickets to attend the event, we truly appreciate all you can do.

With kindest regards,
