This weekend 6/10 will be $100 to win Flathead 325 and $50 to win Super Mod Singles. Yes, the racing lawnmowers will be here this weekend!!! We will have a basket raffle so if anyone is interested in bringing an item for that please feel free. All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Sunshine Foundation for Autism Awareness. Candy scramble at intermission for the kids. And we will have a bonus feature for the junior gold class with entry fees being donated to Randy Perrin ($10 entry fee). Winner from that extra race will receive $50 with a big trophy. Lots going on this upcoming weekend. **Also, the t-shirts for Randy Perrin are in and can be picked up Saturday.**

Just a reminder.. no racing this weekend. Racing will resume on June 10 with our autism awareness race. There will be a basket raffle and candy scramble at intermission. Also don’t forget to get your “Team Randy” decal and get it on your kart like Marc Smith in the picture. We will randomly pick a class each week and if you win with this decal on your kart you have a chance at earning some extra cash. Each decal cost $5. (Special thanks to the Swanger family for designing and donating these decals) Starting next weekend we will choose a class to run an extra feature at the end of the night for a big trophy and possibly some extra money. This extra feature is non points with all entry fees ($10) going to Randy Perrin’s fight against lung cancer. Lots of great things coming up in the future.

If anyone would like to place a shirt order to help Randy’s fight against lung cancer please reach out to us today. We will be placing our shirt order tomorrow with our designer. (We will continue to take orders for as long as we need to help show our support.). If you order today this will ensure that they will be done before our next race on June 10. Cost is $15 per shirt and every single dollar will be donated to Randy and Beth Perrin for their expenses they are about to accrue.

Whenever one of our Flat Run family members need help we all come together to make that possible. I consider our track one of the best family oriented tracks around. One of our own, the man who gives you one of the smoothest and fastest racetracks around has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Randy (aka Pops) will start radiation treatments in June. He still has some intense testing to go thru in the upcoming week but we wanted to do everything possible to help them with the cost of their travels to and from doctor appointments as well as his treatment appointments. Starting tonight we will be taking orders for two different style t-shirts to help show him that we will be walking by his side every step of the way. Every single dollar that we raise from these shirts will be donated to him. Cost is $15 per shirt. And it would be an honor to see everyone wearing them to show him that together we will beat this. (we ask that all shirt orders be prepaid).
We can accept PayPal and can ship shirts if needed.

Since we can no longer use this victory lane banner we will be doing a silent auction for this to help out a family in need. You can post your highest bid on this post or come to the races Saturday night and sign the sheet with your highest bid. This silent auction will go till intermission and the person with the highest bid will take it home. (This banner has been our victory lane banner for the past several years and would make an awesome piece of Flat Run history)

Don’t forget your American flags this weekend.. we ask that all drivers carry a flag while we play our national anthem to help pay tribute to the men and women in uniform (past and present). Because of their sacrifices we are able to enjoy the freedoms we have today. (Drivers must wear helmets)

We are racing today.. Free general admission to the fans; $10 pit pass and $10 kart fee. Gates will open a little before 4 pm and warmups will start at 5:30. We will have our driver registration located by the concession stand tonight (not at the normal place).
Even though it might be a cold and damp day we will make the most of it and honor Smoke Orwick for our opening day. Racing lawnmowers will be here. Tonight’s trophies are sponsored by NJ Motorsports. Also we will add $50 to the class with the most karts.

This weekend 4/29 is our 3rd Annual Smoke Orwick Memorial Race. This will be a double points event sponsored by NJ Motorsports. Racing lawnmowers will be joining us as well (Smoke loved the lawnmowers). At halftime, Cathy Bechtold Photography will choose best appearing Jr, Sr, Wing kart and racing lawnmowers. Gates open at 4pm and warmups start at 5:30. Pit pass fee is $10, Kart fee is $10 and general admission will be $5. Hope to see everyone Saturday. (If this event gets rained out we will reschedule it to June 3)

We are racing today!! We are going to take the chance and go for it. Remember today is just a practice day but we will run warms up, a heat race and feature with trophies being paid out to top 3. Gates will open at 4pm and racing starts at 5:30. If we get heavy rain before now and start time we will need help with karts running the track in.

Starting April 22 we will have tickets for sale for this battery operated power wheel. We will pull the winning ticket on August 5 at our 20th Annual Charlie Perrin Memorial Race. Tickets will be $1 a piece and all proceeds will be donated to The Four Diamonds Fund. (Conquering Childhood Cancer). This item has been donated by Lindsay Racing and Lindsay Parking Lot Cleaning. You don’t have to be present to win. 🏁 Did we mention that our racing family is amazing? 🏁

Added to our 2023 schedule... June 24- Steve Dickson Memorial Race will have payouts to the top 3 in the Flathead 325 and Flathead 380 class. 1st place will pay $100, 2nd place will pay $50 and third will pay $25. (These purses may go up as more sponsors come in). These payouts are sponsored by the Dickson Racing Team.

Also added to the schedule are the Unlimited All-stars. They will be joining us July 8 and for our 20th Annual Charlie Perrin Memorial Race on August 5.

Flathead- .425 purple restrictor plate -265 lbs
Animal- .225- 3 hole purple restrictor plate- 270 lbs
Clone- .425 green restrictor plate.- 280 lbs.
Predator motor- must be stock 4500 rpm - 265 lbs
