Hello everyone! First, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates to this page. Being back in college has consumed much of my time...but I am still making art! In this upcoming "season of giving", I wish to share an important facet in our life ways. I was raised that it is better to give than to receive, that there are those less fortunate than myself and that to care for them is truly the best gift anyone could give. Among the people there is a saying, " "Taku ota' luha kte, ohunkesni wicak'uwo toksa ake luhe kte", whatever you possess, give it away to the needy. You will have it again. For me, for what I was taught,this encompasses many different scenarios. Be it donating time, clothes, or food, please take the time to really understand what is going on in the world and reflect upon this in your own life. I ask nothing more than the well being of all nations. Hau, mitakuye owasin...we are all related.
