Addictions vs Passion
Every year at Christmas the question arises.......is it an addiction or is it passion. I call it passion, others call it addiction. My addiction(passion) is nutcrackers. Yes those funny little (and big) creatures with the glaring eyes and moving jaw. My husband says they are creepy but he continues to add to my collection. Each year as I gently unpack them I inspect them and sometimes have to repair a broken piece. It takes the better part of a day to put out 200+ nutcrackers. Yes 200+ nutcrackers. I try to count them and I take photos of the new additions each year. I absolutely said I would stop at 100....then 150.....then 200, you get the picture.
And then there’s Mr. Big.
Mr. Big stands at 6 ft. and was a gift from my hubby.
So.....do you have an addiction... er... passion for something? Let’s get excited about something this new year. I’m looking forward to 2019. The nutcrackers will get packed away but there’s always something else to get passionate about. That’s what CREATIVE ART AND JUNK DESIGNS is all about.
