A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support our dancers. Your energy, encouragement, and applause made the weekend so special. We are so proud of all the hard work, dedication, and passion our dancers brought to the stage — they truly shined!

✨Class Spotlight #8✨
Our final Class Spotlight of the 2025–26 dance season features CSD’s oldest group of dancers! This group of 11 talented young women brings a wide range of personalities, interests, and experience to the studio. What makes this class special isn’t just their talent—it’s their energy. They walk in ready to work, but also ready to have fun and bring the vibes by supporting one another, sharing life updates, and pushing each other to be their best.

In their already full extracurricular and social calendars, many of them have been committed to dance for 10+ years. Since getting their licenses, timeliness hasn’t always been their strong suit 😉, but they make the most of every minute—asking questions and ensuring they understand each piece of choreography. This year they have been challenged with quick tap, emotional ballet, and fiery jazz choreography. Even more impressive is the way they support one another, taking time to review and practice together so everyone feels confident and prepared.

As many of them wrap up their CSD dance careers as seniors this week, they’ll now take the stage for one final Spring Performance weekend. We are incredibly proud of all they’ve accomplished. Congratulations, dancers—now it’s your time to shine! ✨

✨Class Spotlight #7✨
This year’s kindergarten class is full of curiosity, excitement and energy each week! They love to dance! They also love sharing their stories and showing off their own creative choreography!

In tap, they have worked hard at listening to the beat, shuffle ball change combinations and shuffle jump toes. They are persistent and determined and their tap sounds will impress on stage! From the moment the music starts, their ballet dance is full of exciting energy that keeps everyone smiling and engaged. They’ve worked on 2x2s, shabooms and the show-stopping ‘monkey train’ (the older class was very impressed and HAD to attempt, but didn’t do it quite as well 😉).

They're dancing bigger, stronger and bolder, and we can’t wait to see them sparkle on stage! The joy, teamwork, and willingness to learn makes them a truly special class to teach. Keep working hard, dancers—you’re shining brighter every week!🌟🌟

✨Class Spotlight #6✨
Consistently bringing focus, energy, and thoughtful input to every class, CSD’s 9th and 10th graders are growing as confident dancers who take ownership of their work. They’re constantly ready to contribute ideas, engage in the creative process, and support one another’s growth.

These dancers listened to ONE ballet song and immediately fell in love with its dramatic tone😍. They’ve learned choreography that emphasizes both control and expression, combining fluidity and sharpness to match the music’s intensity. In jazz, they are embracing a classic style with confidence and precision. They bring crispness, attitude, maturity, and strong ex*****on to every combination, from dynamic kick lines to stylized choreography that showcases both personality and control. They continue to build strong foundations while advancing their technique with this year’s tap dance. This group has a willingness to take risks, stay curious, and push themselves and this has led to noticeable growth in both skill and confidence.

This class continues to be unique as they pull students from 4 school districts. The genuine friendships and supportive relationships are fun to observe each week and make their class a joy to work with.🌟🌟
