MURALS FOR MONTEVIDEO UPDATE:
Montevideo Chippewa County Public Library mural dedication will be held Thursday, September 17, at 5 pm. Come to help celebrate our process and future plans.
Also, artists are currently being interviewed by a jury of community members for our next mural on the north wall of the Monte Chamber. This planning process is funded by the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Old time, bluegrass, foot stomping musicians: Chippewa County MN Historical Society is looking for music makers for this event. A beautiful barn at the historic Olof Swensson Farm, on the National Registry of Historic Places. Looks like a good time, fun time!
