I had been eyeing tufting for some time and could hardly wait to open my box and make my first piece.

This. Has been a journey. The making of this rug.

Sewed the strips wrong- the younger me would have left this project in a heap on the studio floor never to return or finish. ✨ and then today, the third sewing machine was the charm. Thank you for your patience and sewing machine. 🩵
