A lot of people may not know this, but if you’re one of my close friends, you know I’ve been completely obsessed with Wes Anderson films for years.

I’ve always said that one day I wanted to take that inspiration and create something of my own with it. Today was my first real attempt.

These images were heavily inspired by Moonrise Kingdom, one of my favorite films, and they’re just the beginning of a series I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. I’ll post some of the inspiration images in the comments so you can see where my brain was wandering today.

Huge shoutout to Megan Magee for being willing to get lost all day, trudge through wet fields, carry props, and generally trust the process while I chased MY DREAM lol

And if you know me, you know I’ve already got my next obsession planned…

i recently had the pleasure of taking pictures for this beautiful family, and not long after, they lost everything they owned in a house fire. 🤍

through all of this, they’ve remained incredibly strong and have already been so blessed by the love and support surrounding them. they are still in need of several household items and essentials as they begin rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

taking the weekend off to recharge a little ☀️🌊

i know i have a few people waiting on edits and galleries, and i promise they’re coming soon. i just needed a weekend to breathe, reset, and step away from my computer for a minute so i can come back refreshed and give your photos the attention they deserve.
