Just when you thought we'd milked generation one for all it was worth, the legendary trio has returned to eclipse the September sun. The humidity is high, the lobbies are capped at four, and these legendary DMax battles are currently the most punishing mechanic in the game.

Shockingly, nearly two dozen of you showed up to bully a bird that desperately wishes it was meta-relevant. 🦅📉🤷‍♂️

​Let’s be honest, the "grind" wasn't really there today. 20k base XP per raid is pocket change, and we certainly didn't need another attacker when we’re already drowning in Mega 4 Dragonites and Mewtwo Xs. Just Saiyan. Clearly, the real motivation was an excuse to touch grass on a nice afternoon. I suppose hanging out with all of you was an acceptable consolation prize.

We farmed the negligible XP, realized Staraptor is still completely outclassed, and enjoyed the weather.

As we transition into fall, Staraptor is feeling extra territorial. It abandoned its flock a long time ago, and now this hyper-aggressive predator is holding the new Brave Bird+ attack over our heads.

We learned the hard way that a pack of overzealous "little Gibles" will absolutely dismantle an unattended tent, but we recovered our gear and secured our shiny Gible hauls. 🦈🪢⛺

​The local Gible population aggressively migrated to the surface, bringing plenty of chaotic energy with them. Amidst the turf damage and the brief disappearance of our club banner, we had the pleasure of speaking with the Mayor of Belle Vernon. A massive thank you to him for taking the time to extend an open invitation for MVTC to host events in their city parks.

These little terrestrial dragons usually prefer geothermal caves, but they're making an exception to tear up the park turf this weekend. The 3x Catch XP is worth the inevitable property damage, so secure your Earth Power Garchomps by evolving before 9 PM.

​September breezes are finally cutting the summer heat, and the park tree line makes a fitting backdrop for the Hero of Many Battles. While it might sting that the Crowned form is nowhere to be found, stalking the walking loop to secure top-tier IVs and high-value trade bait beats letting your daily passes go to waste.

​Let’s address the elephant in the park: thank you to everyone who went into full panic mode helping Mindy and I look for our keys right after this photo. After 10 minutes of frantic searching, I found them in my back pocket. The one pocket I didn't check. You are all wonderful, and I am an idiot.

​Congratulations to everyone who beat the odds and claimed a 3D-printed Hundo badge this weekend! If you missed out, don't worry—these will make a return in the future.

​The biggest shoutout of the weekend goes to Russ at Flame City Pizza and The Steel Plate. It was so chaotic during the photo, the raffle, and the Great Key Incident of 2026 that I didn't get to properly thank him when he and his daughter personally delivered our food. We didn't even realize until he arrived that his shop wasn't open today. He came in on his day off just to make sure this club was fed. We are incredibly grateful, and I’ll be pressing a full, exclusive set of this weekend's pins for him and his daughter as a thank you. Support the businesses that support us.
