Nicole had an old Zelda tattoo that she still loved the design of but didn’t love the ex*****on of… (you can tell by slide three that the original artist was slacking a little bit on the symmetry 😅)

Event schedule for October & sappy post!

This is my first event schedule I’m putting out in a whilee… pretty much the only classes I’ve hosted since April have been my monthly intuitive paint classes at the Figge (On the last Wednesday of every month through the end of 2027 from 5:30-7:30PM!), so this is a bit of an explanation on my time away.

It’s typical at this point that my Figge classes are almost always sold out, but when I first started hosting my intuitive classes in 2024, often times the only people in attendance were my family and friends. More specifically, my parents, grandparents, and Bella have been at almost every single class that I’ve ever hosted.

It wasn’t too long until I was able to spread the word about classes and they generally all have a really good attendance rate! But, had it not been for my family’s initial support, I don’t know if I would have continued on with my classes. Let alone, expanded into doing other classes. My grandparents are at the core of all of my classes, the community aspect within the classes, and all of the love that I pour into them.

That’s why when three of my favorite Art with Atticus attendants, my Grandpa Billy, Grandma Long, and Bella’s sweet Nani all passed away unexpectedly within literal days/ months of each other, it was suddenly really hard to be as excited about my classes as normal. A huge part of the reason I looked forward to my classes (spending quality time with all of them) was just gone. x3.

After taking a few months to properly grieve and heal, I am so excited to get back into the swing of hosting my classes. I can feel all of their spirits with me, encouraging me, and I know that they’d all want the show to go on. I’ve been so touched by the feedback I receive about how healing creating/art is from so many different kinds of people, and I love getting to connect with all of you and getting to be a part of your journey. Thank YOU for being a part of mine, and for your patience while I rested.

This month’s classes are dedicated to my grandpa Billy Long, my grandma Janet Long, and Nani (Judi Berger). 20% of the proceeds will be going to the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter.
