Praise Choir is a group of christian vocalists, musicians, and community members who believe in the word of the Lord. We are from different churches, backgrounds, ethnicities, neighborhoods, and denominations. We believe there is strength and power when we unite in praise and give God glory. We know that we are flawed, but we serve one perfect God through Christ Jesus. We believe we were created

with gifts to use for His glory, and we fully intend to do so and expand the kingdom of God through our perfect example, Jesus Christ. We are unapologetically bold for Christ, AND we will bless His Holy Name! It is our mission to gather with diversity, believers for the purpose of uniting in praise through song, using are God given gifts to inspire communities, families, and artist to praise united while breaking down walls of racism, cultural norms of division, and traditions of men. The most segregated hour in America is Sumday morning. As the United Praise founder, we will bridge belivers from the Quad City area and mix christian music styles with a theatrical approach to our concerts while appreciating all the chtistian cultural styles of its members. United Praise Choir will perform for churches, special concerts, benefits, and donated performances. Umited Praise intends to be a 501c3 fully funded through foundations, grants, and donations. United Praise Choir will need a staff of volunteers and organizers, paid grant writers, and musicians to fully realize our community potential. With the state of the world today, now is the time to praise united with the United Praise Choir. United Praise Choir will perform at least once per year in its annual concert event in fall and/or spring. These concerts will have a themed approach to their presentation, like Christmas. Cynrhia Johnson, founder of United Praise Choir, brings a wealth of musical experience. She bega

Cynthia joined numerous bands and church choirs along the way. She eventually lands a job as lead vocalist of the world renouned band and production team, Flyte Tyme Productions, The grammy award winning group, The Sounds of Blackness, and becomes the top played disco vocalist in 1980 as lead vocalist of Lipps Inc, who landed a number one hit song with Funkytown. Funkytown was #1 in 28 countries around the world. This vast experience is sure to add to United Praise as it grows to unite believers through the Quad Cities and the world.
