We are honored and thrilled to share the news that CVYC is once again a recipient of a grant from The Raymus Foundation! This grant will be integral in helping secure new music for our singers, along with a safe place to organize and store our growing music library. We are so grateful for a community who supports kids in the arts. Thank you, Raymus Foundation!

📣🎶 We are excited to announce that Chelsea Foy is now CVYC’s Executive Director! Chelsea is a founder of the Central Valley Youth Chorus and has served as our board Vice President. A graduate of CSU Stanislaus’ Music Education program, she formerly led the choral program at Downey High School and currently serves as Music Director for YES Company’s summer productions. She is also a published author and a founder of the Modesto Children’s Museum. We look forward to Chelsea’s continuing leadership and vision for CVYC and can’t wait to share what’s in store for our singers this season!

📣🎶 ¡Nos entusiasma anunciar que Chelsea Foy es ahora la Directora Ejecutiva de CVYC! Chelsea es una de las fundadoras del Central Valley Youth Chorus y ha ejercido como Vicepresidenta de nuestra junta directiva. Graduada del programa de Educación Musical de CSU Stanislaus, anteriormente dirigió el programa coral en Downey High School y es la directora musical de los musicales de verano de YES Company. También es autora publicada y fundadora del Modesto Children’s Museum. We said farewell to 8 (!!!) graduating eighth graders at our spring concert, and CVYC couldn’t be prouder of these young people. Seeing them grow over the years as individuals and as a team has been an honor. CVYC now has 8 new incredible alums! 🎓🎶💙💛🩷
