Just a quick update on this semester and a little sneak peek!

I’m currently working on my projects for my Senior Thesis show “Whispers of Eden”. I’m very excited to work on the things I love most; portraits and flowers.

It’s been a tough 4 years but i’m thankful to be near the end and to have the time to paint.

For the end of the semester, here are some of the finished ceramic mugs i’ve made!

As a critique to myself, I think i’d keep the inside the color i have on these, but change the outside color. I’m not a huge fan of it and it also washed out the carvings i made on the mug. Either that or i just didn’t carve deep enough… I also think i could have done way better with the handles… that’s usually one of the hardest parts for me

Overall this was super fun to complete!!

Hi people! My name is Joy!

I’m currently a senior at the University of Mobile and i’m just trying to make my presence in the art community more known!

I’ll be posting my work on here and i’m always down for a commission!

A few fun facts about me:
💐 I love flowers! anything and everything floral, you know i’ll like it.
💐 I loved to travel!! I have lived in Mobile, Alabama for my whole life, but It’s my hope to move to Washington State after I graduate, at least for a little while.
💐 I am one of 6 siblings!
