There’s a certain kind of strength that doesn’t shout—it’s felt. Subtle. Enduring. This black and grey sleeve, a seamless interplay of filigree and geometric symmetry, is a testament to that power.

Created for a client whose story is written in fine lines and quiet defiance, this piece weaves classic elegance with architectural precision. The filigree whispers of heritage; the geometry grounds it in the present.

Each section was sculpted through a series of private sessions, unfolding across months of collaboration and intention. The result is more than a sleeve—it’s an extension of identity, an heirloom etched in skin.

We approach each project with reverence, artistry, and time. When every detail matters, we move deliberately. Comment "Consult" for a Consultation

Vote. Which layout looks the coolest A-D ? Vote in the comments!

I often have this discussion with clients, especially with animals that have a rack. They generally want to show the whole thing because the number of points tells a story about the size the animal and how epic the hunt was... BUT, to fit the whole thing the skull becomes so small it is barely legible and will hardly last, negating that original goal.

Enlarging it to take up the whole arm still won't ensure a proper fit without adjustments, and while the rack can be used to frame another piece, it is definitely not th best look. My preference is to blow it up (still smaller than life) let the antlers go outside of the frame (showing how large it is) allowing for actual detail in the skull, use black background so there is contrast and the skull can look "white" and negative whisps to help it flow with the muscle structure. Then using a positive or in this case negative silhouette of the whole thing to show the points. Even better if you use a shot of the live animal standing proud as it tells a more complete story!

Which look would you vote for? Presumably this would be on a guy.

10 years in to Montana Tattoo Company and 3 remodels... pretty sure this is the first message I've gotten like this outside of Noah Thicksleepy. A little goes a long way. Excited to connect with you all again!

I figure tonight is the best night to post this study I had done for a painting I had planned. I’ll know in a few days if I still plan to do that painting but if I do it will be 4x8’ and I will definitely be taking bids. Commission season is upon us folks, if you have a business, let’s talk business!

One of my longer ongoing projects. I don't share them a ton, and I missed the sun today, but they let me get a few shots. I was playing with some new camer lenses and they had just come from the home of my co-conspirator on the project. They always look less like trolls when they first come back.

In the last couple of years, I have made some big changes in the way I work. From 3D design to new shop software to connect everyone... it's a lot of computers. I wanted to do something for myself, but of course, it all ties back in to work. You guys who enjoy what I do have given me a great life... And I don't take nearly enough photos with any amount of consistency.

To make it worse, I think I need to kill a day or two of tattooing to properly market everyone else at the shop since I haven't found a perfect solution for myself yet.

I grew up with a darkroom in the house but have been notoriously horrible at photography my whole life. After a few design classes to beat certain concepts into my head, I felt more confident this year to wade in and work on slaying that beast. These aren't quite there, but I'm seeing movement.

After putting some work in both on equipment and editing, on top of tattooing, running the shop, designing the CRM, the 3D stuff, the animation month, updating websites... I think I'm gonna use the photography to get out more. I took these shots today visiting my friend , and the light was right.

Plus, I was playing with a new lens, and I needed something to play with in . I'm sure meta will call it AI, but that really depends where you draw the line in lightroom and . So be it. I like it therefore it is. Thanks for taking a look. If you have an event or something cool to shoot, I'm trying to dial it all in.

Should I post more like this or stick to one thing?

Took the earlier sculpt into . A little rough the first time around but once I can master this workflow I think it will be much more smooth sailing
