Punch Table, as originally shown at Memphis Social in 2013, now awaiting restoration processes.
Internal experience changes through social interaction. With Punch Table I set up an art situation whereby viewers inadvertently caused punch to spill and stain a carefully prepared tablecloth, on which I had spent months creating a design in silver leaf on white fabric of motifs representing nature-love, and shyness. This staining happened as a result of their approaching the table to look at it, and perhaps to accept a cup of punch.
