Well, apparently today is National Splurge Day, and as someone who usually talks myself out of buying things, I figured I'd give everyone permission to treat themselves a little.

Life is busy. The to-do list never seems to get shorter. Sometimes a small splurge isn't about spending money, it's about choosing something that makes your day a little brighter.

Maybe that's a bag of fresh Sannes Coffee Co. for slower mornings.

Maybe it's a jar of Kamiva Organics Tallow Balm because your skin deserves some love after surviving a North Dakota winter (and spring... and sometimes summer).

You know how I love to tell stories…well, here’s a good one. A customer stopped at the Visit Minot gift shop looking for a bribery gift and she left with Scotcharoo Crunch Snack Mix. Why? Because Scotcharoo is North Dakotans way to a person’s heart and this stuff is addicting! So the question is, did it work? I am happy to report that it worked like a charm. What the customer was using for to get her way, I do not know, but I do know that Scotcharoo Crunch is the answer!

Can coozies are perfect for the lake and these are hilarious!

Candles from Little White Farm are always a hit! Made in Dana’s studio on her adorable little farm by Elgin, these candles smell amazing. It’s almost as if you can smell the love she pours into each candle.

I also have only 6 jars of homemade by me Strawberry Rhubarb Jam. Message if you want one!

Open Wed-Fri from 11-5 and Sat 11-3. We are also popping up at the Leavitt AMP music event at Citizen’s Alley on Thursday and the Scandinavian Heritage Park Midsummer Festival on Saturday. Busy week!!

Seriously, this all started as a joke. On April Fools Day, I created a post saying that I was creating a Tater Tot Hotdish snack mix. I had no idea that people wouldn’t think it was a joke and that they really wanted really wanted to try it.

With my food science background, I set to work creating a snack mix that would taste like the beloved Midwest classic and TotDish Mix came to life. And it is a hit!

You can get it at .living in Downtown Minot, Turtle Lake Main Street Market, gift shop, and at various vendor markets this summer. It’s also available on our website at koseligliving.com
