Three years ago today, I did a thing. A slightly crazy, but exciting, “well…let’s see what happens” kind of thing.
I opened a little shop called Koselig.
There has been coffee, Scandinavian treasures, local makers, vintage finds, now waffles, kitchen experiments, late nights, big ideas, tiny ideas, moments of doubt, moments of “YES! This is exactly why I’m doing this!” and more than a few “What in the world was I thinking?” moments.
But most of all, there have been people.
People who stopped in just to look and somehow became regulars.
People who drove across town, or across the country, because they wanted to see what Koselig was all about.
People who cheered us on, shared our posts, bought the weird little thing they absolutely did not need, told a friend about us, brought someone in, or simply walked through the door and made our day a little brighter.
Koselig has changed. I’ve changed. The shop has grown, shrunk, shifted, stretched, and occasionally made me question every life decision that led me here. 🤣
But the heart of it has stayed the same:
A little place to find something lovely.
A little place to slow down.
A little place to feel at home.
So today, I’m raising a cup of coffee to three years of Koselig. ☕️
Thank you for every purchase, every conversation, every laugh, every recommendation, every “I saw this on Facebook!” and every time you’ve walked through our door.
And if the last three years have taught me anything, it’s this: You never really know where one little idea might take you.
Here’s to whatever comes next. 🤎
And yes… I’m still figuring out what I’m doing. 😉
Come celebrate with us today at 106 Main St S. We will have cookies and coffee ready for you from 2-5 pm when I am at the shop.
We’d love to see you. 🥰
