We made it!! We are going to the 2026 Minnesota Fringe Festival!

Thank you SO MUCH to our community for showing your support! We can't believe we were able to raise the whole amount in less than two weeks!

We are so excited to have a chance to tell the story of the Scab and the Opossum for a bigger audience this summer, and it is not lost on us how big of a part you all have played in this opportunity!

Hope everyone has been staying safe and well in these difficult times 💚

We here at Budding Heads have recently had to have some tough conversations and we’ve decided to cancel our upcoming production of Shel’s Shorts by Shel Silverstein.

To be transparent, making theatre is hard. There is so much time and effort and resources that go into each project, and we are not a large entity (there are quite literally just the two of us on the Budding Heads team). We’ve also been heavily impacted mentally, emotionally, and spiritually by the ongoing occupation of the Twin Cities community by ICE agents (just as the rest of our community has been impacted). Given our current finances, personal capabilities, and the current climate of our community, we don’t feel confident that we have the resources or capacity to put forth our best work to present this show, and we believe this project deserves nothing less than our best. So for the time being, we will be tabling Shel’s Shorts and keeping it on the horizon to stage in the near-ish future!
