La Curandera & the Ritual

La Curandera & the Ritual Music you'd hear reverberating through the halls, from the depths of an abandoned desert temple. Lyrics mostly in Spanish, about dark themes.

La Curandera believes in catharsis by release of negative energy in ritualistic form.

We’re back! After almost 2 years of hiatus, we are playing our first full set at In the Heart of the Beast Theater on December 20th.

We started playing live on Winter Solstice of 2017, so it feels extra special to get to do this set the evening before Winter Solstice.

Our last gig was on Valentines 2020 😮

The sound snippet is from a previously unreleased improvised live track that I look back on fondly. Performed at one of our favorite venues in the Twin Cities that is currently on hiatus, The Kitty Cat Club. (I've heard they'll hopefully be reopening in 2022)

Link to full track in our bio.

More info on the gig coming soon ❤

Happy Solstice everyone! And happy two years to this ever evolving project called La Curandera & the Ritual!Pic by

Last leg of an all improv set that resulted in a song . On 08/07/19

In this video you hear the sounds of an improvised song based on concepts explored over the last year and a half, and added instruments (Guitar/Trumpert - Willow Ashen Waters, Cello - Eric M. C. Gonzalez , Drums - Jacqueline Flora )

With Charlie Milkey doing bass. Adrian Nofzinger who mostly plays keys now, originally played both bass and keys, Ashley O'neill Prado on violin, These two, alongside Xochi de la Luna who is on Vocals/vocal soundscapes using a vocal processor made out of guitar pedals, were part of the original three who played the first show on Winter Solstice 2017.

One day we'll have enough money to put our ghostly music into it's true essence, but for now we appreciate the opportunities to showcase the live sounds of ancestors speaking through instruments.
